PM Kisan 20th Installment: Did You Get Your ₹2,000? Here’s How to Check Your Status!
Good news for farmers! The Central Government has released the 20th installment of funds under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers across the country who are eligible for the scheme have directly received ₹2,000 in their bank accounts.
PM Kisan 20th Installment Details
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated several development programs and announced the release of these funds. A total of ₹20,500 crore has been disbursed to the accounts of 9.7 crore farmers. This follows the 19th installment, which was released on February 24, 2025.
What is the PM Kisan Scheme?
The PM Kisan scheme is a flagship initiative by the Central Government aimed at providing financial support to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, every eligible farmer receives ₹6,000 annually. This amount is not paid at once but is distributed in three installments of ₹2,000 each every four months. The key feature of this scheme is that the money is directly deposited into the farmers’ bank accounts, eliminating the need for any middlemen.
e-KYC is Mandatory
To receive funds under the PM Kisan scheme, farmers must complete their e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer). Those who haven’t completed this process will not receive the funds. However, they can complete their e-KYC and receive the pending funds along with the next installment. There are several ways to complete the e-KYC:

Online: You can complete an OTP-based e-KYC through the official PM Kisan portal. -
Biometric: Visit a nearby Common Service Center (CSC) to complete the biometric e-KYC.

App: You can also complete your KYC using face authentication on the PM Kisan app.
How to Check Your PM Kisan Status
You can easily check if you are an eligible beneficiary and if the 20th installment has been credited to your account by following these steps:

First, open the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in

Navigate to the ‘Farmers Corner‘ section on the homepage.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status‘ option.

Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number.

Click on the ‘Get Data‘ button.

Your details, including the total amount received and the payment status for each installment, will be displayed on the screen.
Using this simple method, you can confirm whether the money has been credited to your account. If the funds have not been credited, it is advisable to check if your e-KYC is complete.
